When teachers work with moodle or another learning environment, a common question is:
"Where can I get the learning content from?".
We solve these questions:
For our customers, we connect content sources to the edu-sharing instances of the countries. In addition, we are committed to the community: as a member of edu-sharing NETWORK e.V., we help to develop educational content.
For our partners in NRW, we opened up the content of the math platform serlo.org
and learning contents from the video portal "youtube", and we are linking the educational server to the OER repository in Berlin. At the hackathon Coding da Vinci Nord (#hack4OER) we integrated images of the Archaeological Museum in Hamburg (visit our Hackdash project
By linking sources the content is directly available in the schools' e-learning environment.
Because of our edu-sharing plugin for moodle and other learning platforms, teachers can use the integrated edu-sharing search. The object the user searched for is directly embedded into the learning platform page. Sources (i.e. author, license, etc.) are automatically supplemented. Teachers can concentrate on the lesson - our technologies focus on work facilitation.
Thanks to this functionality, edu-sharing is also often used as an OER repository. Educational organizations can thus open up all internal and external OER sources centrally and use them in their learning platforms, wikis and other software applications.
